POSITION SUMMARY:

As part of Domos Global Growth Marketing team, the Senior Social Media Manager will be responsible for the development & execution of paid & organic social plans, managing the campaigns within the media platforms as part of larger marketing strategies. They will own targeting, channel analysis, competitive research & analysis, performance assessment, & optimization towards marketing targets for paid & organic social. The Senior Social Media Manager will be at the forefront of revialtizing our organic social strategy, coming up with new & innovating ideas to test, as well as expanding our paid social impact to the organization. This role will report to the Vice President, Global Growth Marketing, & will work in close partnership with stakeholders in Marketing & across the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

ORGANIC

  • Define the strategy & best practices for social media engagement across the full journey;
  • Manage multiple organic social media advertising programs across various social channels from planning to implementation, optimization & analysis;
  • Serve as the primary storyteller for Domo across social channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, & TikTok, amplifying content & conversations;
  • Own content, promotion, engagement, & conversion strategies as well as the measurement & analysis of efforts to ROI;
  • Ideate, create, curate, & manage a range of content for social channels, including video, animation, static images, carousels, & creative copy posts;
  • Oversee & maintain a social content calendar;
  • Lead social exploration & expansion into emerging platforms;
  • Develop & employ social monitoring & online advocacy.

PAID

  • Development & execution of paid social media plans & a part of larger marketing & demand generation strategies, inclusive of targeting, channel analysis, competitive research & analysis, performance assessment, & optimization towards targets;
  • Liaising & vetting with vendors on new opportunities & channels for future testing;
  • Responsible for granular media optimization, tracking & recording;
  • Channel budget management, including resolving billing discrepancies & reviewing invoices;
  • Executing, processing, & tracking vendor POs.

BOTH

  • Collaborating cross-functionally with other teams within the Global Growth Marketing team & broader Marketing department, as well as other department stakeholders to achieve annual targets;
  • Analyze & disseminate key performance data (top of funnel to bottom) across multiple reporting suites;
  • Leverage data to evolve tactics & continually improve performance;
  • Ensure campaigns are achieving their business objectives & delivers timely KPI reports to management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years experience in hands-on organic & paid social management;
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or comparable education/experience;
  • Familiarity with paid social platform, such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Facebook Ad Manager, Intstagram Ads, etc.;
  • Must have experience with targeting techniques available in all social media platforms for both organic & paid, including X/Twitter, Facebook, Instgram, TikTok, etc.;
  • Highly analytical mindset & quantitative skills with the ability to interpret performance data, analyze campaign goals, & make adjustments to key performance drivers; 
  • Experience with social media monitoring, engagement, & advertising platforms for B2B markets a plus;
  • Attention to detail & discipline to follow established policies & processes;
  • Multi-tasking & organization skills are pertinent to this role;
  • Must also be familiar with Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, budget management;
  • Ability to conceptualize, scope & execute projects to strict deadlines;
  • Confident, self-motivated with strong, demonstrable bias for action.
