YOUR ROLE:
The Account Director is proficient in coordination & leadership, demonstrating high potential in core business leadership skills. You will understand the agency portfolio of offerings & how to apply them to solve client business problems. You will partner with & own the relationships with client stakeholders, serving as an advisor & partner at senior managerial & marketing/category directorial levels. You are an agency driver who works to keep the agency operations moving along, motivated by driving excellent results consistently. Additionally, you will be responsible for crafting presentations for executives, ensuring that all communication is clear, concise, & impactful.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Client Partnering

- Strategically build client relationship trust & effectively facilitate, negotiate, & drive scopes of work for accounts.
- Responsible for overall client satisfaction & service/product quality.
- Understand client business & ensure QBRs & strategic business reviews are set.
- Lead QBR reviews with key C-suite clients & internal agency stakeholders.
- Partner with VP, Account Leadership & SVP, Client Partner to build & drive the macro engagement roadmap & sponsor discrete engagement strategies.
- Communicate powerfully, be credible, & engender trust with executive clients.
Crafting Presentations for Executives

- Develop & deliver high-impact presentations tailored for executive audiences.
- Ensure presentations are clear, concise, & effectively communicate key messages & strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data & insights for presentations.
- Utilize storytelling techniques to enhance the engagement & understanding of the audience.

- Provide a clear north star for all work on an engagement.
- Hold creative, strategy, data, technology, & other delivery teams accountable to deliver & course correct as needed.
- Build strong working relationships with department leads & staff.

- Mentor internal team to deliver excellence, setting high talent standards, developing, coaching, & mentoring talent.
- Identify, attract, & retain top talent.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- 8-10 years of experience in account management, particularly with a focus on digital & CRM. Experience in data/technology consulting a huge plus.
- Strong mid to senior-level client management experience, with the ability to navigate complex client organizations.
- Experience in direct marketing/advertising/digital marketing.
- Strong experience & comfort-level with martech platforms & previous CRM experience.
- Excellent planning, organizational, & problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build partnerships & work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, & written skills.
- Ability to hold self & others accountable to meet commitments.
- Experience in managing financial growth on individual pieces of business.
- Proven leadership, coaching, & mentoring qualities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.

RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections & collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

This range is specific to Chicago & multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to: skill set, experience & training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
