The role

We are seeking a highly motivated & strategic individual to join our team as the Chief Advisor, Procurement & Supply Chain Transformation. In this function, you will work closely with the Vice-President of Procurement & Supply Chain Management at HelloFresh International. In this key leadership role, you will play a pivotal role within the Procurement & Supply Chain function in  managing & spearheading high-impact projects concentrating on strategic cost reduction as well as driving organizational & structural transformations, providing critical support in managing day-to-day operations, facilitating communication across departments, & contributing to the development & execution of strategic initiatives. In this position, your collaboration with HelloFreshs geographies, distribution centers & finance will be crucial, spanning over 7 geographies in Europe & Australia - New Zealand.

What youll do

  • Strategic Planning & Execution:
    • Collaborate with the Vice-President & Senior Leadership Team to develop, communicate, execute, & sustain strategic initiatives within the Procurement & Supply Chain Management domain.
    • Identify & execute cross-functional high-impact projects: define project scope, improvement potential & objectives as well as project plans aligned with organizational goals
    • Collaborate with diverse teams, including Procurement, Finance, Operations, to manage the timely delivery of project milestones
  • Operational Management:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the Procurement & Supply Chain Management function
    • Identify & quantify efficiency levers & areas for improvement across Procurement & Supply Chain Management function
    • Implement innovative strategies for cost reduction while maintaining quality standards
    • Monitor key performance indicators & provide regular updates to the leadership team.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Facilitate effective communication & collaboration to ensure seamless execution of business objectives.
    • Build & maintain relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Analysis & Reporting:
    • Conduct data analysis & research to support decision-making processes.
    • Prepare reports, presentations, & briefing materials on strategic initiatives.

What youll bring

  • An exceptional academic record with degree from a top-tier college or university (Engineering or Business degrees preferred)
  • 6+ years of experience within procurement and/or supply chain management and/or in a top-tier consulting company complemented by international multi-project management in a fast-paced environment gained in consumer-driven industries
  • Demonstrated ability to define & enforce metrics that drive efficiency, measure performance & reduce costs
  • Strategic & analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex data 
  • Strong project management skills & experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Exceptional communication & interpersonal skills. Exemplary & demonstrable (senior) stakeholder management experience
  • High level of integrity, discretion, & confidentiality.
  • Fluent business English knowledge mandatory; German & other European languages are considered a plus
  • Interest to travel abroad to our sites (up to 30%)
