We are looking for an Accountant who will partner with departments across the organization to analyze & continuously drive improvement in our internal controls & financial reporting processes. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will act as a business partner to the operations team to assist in weekly, monthly & quarterly reporting of financial results. As part of the Finance team, you will play a key role in the preparation of accurate & timely financial reporting packages.

• Take ownership of the financial statements & supporting schedules to ensure completeness & accuracy of P&L & balance sheet accounts
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, monthly financial statements, & variance analysis 
• Work closely with key stakeholders from the procurement & data teams to streamline month-end close processes
• Develop & maintain accurate accounting processes & procedures for ingredients & packaging functions 
• Assist with the interim & year-end internal & external audit requirements
• All other duties, as assigned

• 1-2 years experience working in full-cycle accounting or experience in Public accounting
• You have a bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting from a top university
• You have or are working towards a CPA designation
• You have strong knowledge of IFRS, including technical accounting & reporting requirements
• You are proficient in using Excel (Advanced level), & a willingness to learn SQL
• You have strong interpersonal skills, both written & verbal
• Your attention to detail is renowned. You are able to multitask, work under pressure, & meet deadlines. You thrive in a fast-paced work environment. You are a proactive problem-solver: You always look for a better, more efficient way to complete your own & the teams tasks.
