About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Front-End Developer who is passionate about crafting beautiful, responsive, & high-performance UIs. You will work closely with designers, product managers, & back-end engineers to implement modern web interfaces, ensuring excellent user experience (UX) & accessibility.
Responsibilities:
- UI Development: Build & maintain high-quality front-end components using React, Tailwind CSS, & ShadCN-UI.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure smooth rendering & fast load times using Vite, Webpack, & best performance practices.
- Component Library & Design System: Contribute to & maintain a scalable, reusable component system to maintain consistency across applications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers, back-end developers, & product teams to translate Figma designs into fully functional components.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, & well-documented code with strong TypeScript typing, unit testing, & linting rules.
- Accessibility & UX: Ensure compliance with WCAG standards to provide a seamless experience for all users.
- State Management: Utilize modern state management solutions (TanStack Query + React Context API, for example) where necessary.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with front-end best practices & emerging technologies to continuously improve UI performance & usability.

Qualifications:
- Experience: : 3+ years of experience in front-end development
- Proficiency in React Ecosystem: Strong understanding of React hooks, component lifecycles, & functional programming.
- Styling & Theming: Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS, CSS Modules, or Styled Components.
- Build Tools: Experience with Vite, Webpack, & bundler optimizations.
- Component Libraries: Familiarity with ShadCN-UI, Radix UI, or similar headless UI component libraries.
- Testing: Knowledge of Jest, React Testing Library, or Playwrite for front-end unit & integration testing.
- Version Control & CI/CD: Proficiency with Git, GitHub Actions, & CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced team & clearly communicate technical concepts.
Nice to Have Qualifications:
- Nice to Have
- Experience working with REST APIs.
- Familiarity with Monorepos.
- Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR).
- Experience with WebSockets.

The estimated total compensation range for this position located in Austin, TX is $80,000 - 145,000 (base plus bonus). Actual compensation for the position is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to affordability, skills, qualifications & experience, & may vary from the range. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible for annual performance-based incentive compensation awards & equity, among other company benefits.
