About the Team & Opportunity
innovaTel is looking for a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker. This role will be working with pediatric patients in a children's hospital setting. We provide a tremendous amount of support to our clinical team & want our clinicians to be able to focus on whats most important - patient care. Come join our exceptional team!
- Expected hours:
- Role location:
- Remote. If candidates have the ability to be on-site in the Philadelphia area on an occasional basis, that is a plus
- If a candidate prefers to be on-site, that option is also available
- Patient population:
- Pediatrics at a childrens hospital
- Required licenses:
- New Jersey & Pennsylvania. If a candidate possesses only one of these licenses, we will consider cross-licensing in the other state
Accountabilities
- Perform initial mental health diagnostic assessments with treatment recommendations.
- Develop an individualized, prescriptive treatment plan to fit the needs of each patient using appropriate diagnostic criteria.
- Develop a strong rapport with a diverse set of patients primarily through the telehealth modality
- Document concurrently all clinical findings & services provided in the electronic medical record as required by standards of care.
- Participate in treatment meetings, consultation, & collaboration with members of the clinical team.
- Be present & available on-screen for the duration of the contracted hours
Minimum Qualifications:
- Relevant & active LCSW license
- Certified & / or experienced in common therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, TFCBT & Motivational Interviewing
- Excellent written, verbal, & listening communication skills, positive relationship building skills & critical analysis.
- Flexibility & ability to adjust to needs of clinic partners (e.g., same-day appointments, patients in crisis, technology outages, etc.)
- Well versed in using EHRs, confident in a virtual setting & concurrent documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to be on-site on an occasional basis in the Philadelphia area
- Experienced in caring for patients with Serious Mental Illness
- Previous telemedicine experience & skilled at using online tools & technology to deliver care & communicate with patient
