We are seeking a dynamic & results-oriented Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our team at BetterCloud. This pivotal role focuses on creating, strategizing, executing, & optimizing a data-driven communications strategy across the post-sales customer journey maximizing opportunities for growth, retention, & loyalty. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Lifecycle Marketing Manager will design targeted campaigns that enhance user engagement, drive revenue growth, & reduce churn. You'll deliver personalized experiences that resonate with IT professionals, ensuring their success & fostering lasting relationships with BetterCloud.

About You

  • 3-5 years of experience in CRM, Digital Marketing, Lifecycle Marketing, Growth Marketing, or a related position with the responsibility of driving revenue or ROI.
  • Deep understanding of marketing automation tools & CRM systems, with the ability to leverage these technologies for targeted campaign execution.
  • Experience working in tools such as Marketo, Sendoso, SalesForce, etc., to execute segmented campaigns that deliver timely & relevant messages.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making & a keen eye for identifying trends & opportunities in customer behavior.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content that engages & converts.
  • A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals & improve customer experiences.
  • A commitment to staying informed on the latest marketing trends & technologies, with a willingness to innovate & experiment with new strategies.

What Youll Do 

  • Working alongside Customer Success Managers & Renewal Managers, youll have ownership over revenue & up/cross-sell targets for BetterCloud customer renewals
  • Develop & manage complex automated marketing campaigns, using segmentation & personalized messaging to drive adoption, engagement, & retention.
  • Map out & understand the complete user lifecycle journey, identifying key touchpoints & opportunities for engagement across all communication platforms.
  • Identify & develop customer segmentation strategies across various channels - including email, in-app, digital, & social - tailoring marketing approaches based on data & customer behavior insights.
  • Collaborate with customer facing teams to ensure cohesive customer experiences & to align marketing strategies with company-wide objectives.
  • Track, analyze, & report on key performance metrics, using insights to optimize campaign performance & inform future strategies.

Goals

In your first week, you will have

  • Begun to understand & train in BetterClouds customers, brand, & platform
  • Met with your team & team members across go-to-market & Product
  • Started to learn about the market & BetterClouds vision for innovation

In your first 30 days, you will have

  • Worked closely with Customer Success leaders & individuals to understand BetterCloud customers & how they rely on BetterCloud
  • Know key players across the org, have started to build relationships & sit in on calls with Customers to hear from them directly
  • Started to map out a strategy for scaled customer engagements

In your first 60 days, you will have

  • Executed campaigns to BetterCloud customers with cross-functional team members
  • Developed a cadence of reporting & analysis to share results of your campaigns with the Marketing org & the rest of the GTM team
  • Developed a strong understanding of our customer, our brand, & our product to inform your messaging & campaign strategy

Salary Range: IC3 - 100-125 base 

This salary range represents BetterClouds good faith & reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, & BetterCloud may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.  The final salary for this position will be determined in BetterClouds sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, & based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employees work experience, skills, & qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of BetterClouds business & other operational considerations.
