About the Role

iCapital is looking for an Associate or Assistant Vice President to join its growing Research & Education team. The role will focus on conducting due diligence on Private Capital funds & authoring thorough due diligence reports that are offered to our clients. This individual should have a strong knowledge of industry trends in private equity, private credit, and/or real estate & real assets. 

Responsibilities

• Help maintain a pipeline of investment ideas that are in market or coming to market over a 12-month period & lead the effort in creating market maps for each major strategy.
• Participate in investment & operational due diligence on private capital managers identified for inclusion on iCapitals platform.
• Prepare clear & comprehensive due diligence reports on managers, including qualitative & quantitative factors.
• Source new managers, perform initial screening, & identify managers for further consideration.
• Monitor & maintain coverage of select list of manager & funds providing regular updates on performance, exposures, & organizational changes.
• Prepare marketing & education materials on various products & strategies for clients of the company.
• Support all aspects of iCapitals fund launch process by partnering with the Investment, Product Development, Sales, & Marketing teams.
• Assist in developing a marketing plan for all new product launches, partner with the sales team to conduct demand assessment, & execute marketing plan by partnering with Research & Sales teams.
• Assist with the planning & execution of roadshows & conferences.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of total experience in financial services
• Demonstrated qualitative & quantitative analytical skills
• Strong written communication skills & able to present in front of senior professionals in the industry
• Able to work independently
