CyberSource, a Visa company, is a world leader in payment acceptance, payment processing, risk management & payment security. Product Managers are the architects of CyberSource product offering & the primary drivers of product success & adoption by merchants, acquirers & technology partners.
The Senior Director, Product Management, CyberSource Payouts is responsible for evangelizing the push payments vision, strategy & developing the product suite enabling CyberSource Push Payments. The role requires a business owner mindset for growing & expanding the product line & associated revenues, representing product capabilities directly with clients & key stakeholders in the push payments value chain in strategic sales situations, & working through the client's solution needs.
As a senior leader you must be comfortable in working with senior management in financial institutions, & understand the complexities, funds flow, roles & responsibilities for settlement, & respective regulatory requirements of each stakeholder for push payments.
- 12 years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree; 10 years of work experience with Masters/MBA/JD/MD; or a minimum of 8 years of work experience with a PhD
12-15 years in product management, preferably in payments products
Exceptional product management acumen & ability to develop & execute a multi-year product roadmap
Deep knowledge of payments processing, push payments, fast funds and/or real time payments
Demonstrated ability to grow market-leading, differentiated & innovative products through sound product vision, strategy, roadmap, & execution
Ability to structure, manage, & coordinate complex cross-functional teams including technical & non-technical resources
Strong results-oriented leader; analytic & fact-based consultative discipline
Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic & flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral & writing capabilities
Ability to manage customer & partner expectations & able to negotiate & influence internal & external stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to take ownership of complex, multi-faceted, open-ended problems & drive them to completion. Comfortable working with ambiguity.
Develop the overall strategy for the product line, own product roadmap & user experience
Engage cross-functional stakeholders, partners & clients to solicit requirements, incorporate feedback, & present program results
Collaborate with Global Sales, Marketing & Support to develop product requirements through commercialization of new products (beta), general availability & deprecation of legacy products
Manage the development & deployment of products & prepare product/business requirements for successful launches in collaboration with the product development team
Perform User Acceptance Testing & ensure requirements were understood/implemented
Actively prioritize the product backlog; participate in pre-planning, prioritization & user story mapping sessions
The ideal candidate will have a deep background in push payments, fast funds networks & product management with a proven record of commercializing & scaling products
This position requires the incumbent to travel for work 20% of the time
This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit & stand at a desk, communicate in person & by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones & computers, reach with hands & arms, & bend or lift up to 25 pounds.
