About the Role

Location: Mt Lehman Rd & Automall Dr, Abbotsford 

Shift: This position will provide a consistent Wednesday to Sunday schedule (Will require flexibility to work outside these hours)

Pay: $55,000 - $60,000

We are looking for a full-time Production Supervisor to join our team! You will report to the Production Manager & will be responsible for managing production flow & scheduling as well as ensuring the product is shipped out on time, including adhering & ensuring to quality standards. The ideal candidate is a curious, analytical, & process-driven problem-solver.

What you will be doing:

  • Create weekly production documents for receiving, staging, production, & shipping
  • Ensure production plans are executed & that all issues are communicated & tracked.
  • Drive customer experience through low error rates on ingredient quality, pick accuracy, & ship-out time.
  • Along with the rest of the Operations team, build & implement production cost techniques that can be applied in production tasks & assembly.
  • Monitor production plans, start times, dismissal times, & additional daily activities.
  • Maintain high standards of Good Manufacturing Procedures & housekeeping in the production facility to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Establish & work within budget as permitted by the Production Manager.
  • Use designated technology to assure quality/accuracy of shipped product as well as efficient customer service.
  • Review customer error calls relevant to production to measure & track quality, accuracy, & pick metrics along with identifying error trends to improve defined metrics
  • Conduct daily 5S, process, & facility readiness checks
  • Coordinate with ops team, suppliers, & contractors to implement corrective & preventive action plan
  • Work in compliance with OH&S acts & regulations. 
  • Use personal protective & safety equipment & clothing as directed by the employer & report workplace hazards & dangers to the supervisor or employer. 
  • Other duties as assigned

At a minimum, you have: 

  • Bachelors degree or related management work experience.
  • 2-3 years of experience managing production in a fulfillment/distribution center; preferably within the Food & Beverage industry.
  • Quantitative & analytical experience must have proficiency using MS Excel & G-Suite Apps.
  • Leadership: Provide guidance & direction to the production lines.
  • Innovative: Think of creative & efficient solutions to problems others may take for granted.
  • Ownership: Take pride in what you do. Treat the process as if it is your own.
  • Time Management: Understand process flow & prioritize accordingly.
  • Proactive, ambitious, & assertive: you think beyond the scope of a given assignment.
