HelloFresh is looking for a data-driven, strategic, & solution-focused Senior Manager - Strategic Projects, to join our Reactivations Marketing team, based in Toronto. You will bring strong analytical expertise to this high-impact & high-visibility role, to identify new business opportunities to re-engage our former customers based on deep analysis & understanding of marketing campaigns, market trends, & customer behaviors. You will provide actionable insights & strategic recommendations to inform key business decisions, & guide marketing initiatives. As a thought leader, you will scope new opportunities & tests, develop cross-channel marketing strategies, & support profitability & customer experience improvement initiatives. By challenging the status quo, you will drive efficiency through process improvements, automation, & the creation of scalable mechanisms. This position reports directly into the Senior Director of Marketing - Reactivations.

You will  

  • Analyze marketing campaigns, industry & market trends & customer behaviors & dynamics. Identify root causes of changing trends, new opportunities & challenges. Provide actionable insights & strategic recommendations to inform business decisions related to marketing strategies & growth initiatives, & support prioritization. 
  • Serve as a thought-leader by scoping new opportunity areas & tests
  • Support developing marketing strategy, & other strategic business topics such as profitability improvement, cross-channel marketing strategy, & customer experience improvement initiatives 
  • Continuously challenge the status quo. Define, develop & deliver strategic initiatives to improve processes & team & org level efficiency through analysis, business case creation, new processes & mechanisms, & project management 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across North America, & International counterparts to align priorities & processes, facilitate collaboration, & accelerate progress of shared projects. 
  • Automate repetitive tasks & build mechanisms to optimize resource utilization & team efficiency.
  • Develop & maintain processes for tracking projects progress & outcomes, & to clearly & proactively report to senior leadership & cross functional stakeholders. 
  • Monitor performance across channels & brands, & support the overall management of the business processes (e.g., business reviews, planning, initiative tracking) to ensure business plan targets are met. Communicate performance updates & provide strategic, data-driven recommendations to close gaps & accelerate growth. 
  • Take ownership of improving, maintaining & scaling forecasting tools to monitor & analyze performance. Support channel owners in building & managing forecast & budgets. 
  • Take lead on ad-hoc projects & deep dives as necessary

You are 

  • Proficient in data analysis tools, including Excel, with the ability to identify trends & draw actionable conclusions
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into insights & implement solutions
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of structuring & visualizing complex issues
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate data & insights into actionable marketing strategies. 
  • Experienced in performance marketing metrics (e.g., CPM, CPI, CPA, CPC, LTV). 
  • Proactive, results-oriented & data-driven. You constantly identify new opportunities & a more efficient way to deliver goals. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty. 
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects & priorities in parallel.
  • A scrappy team player, comfortable operating in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, high-growth environment, committed to high-quality output. 
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently to lead initiatives. 
  • Fast learner with a "can-do" attitude
  • Excellent verbal, written, & interpersonal communication skills to present complex information in a clear & concise manner to both technical & non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, able to influence & manage stakeholders effectively

You have 

  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Economics, Engineering, or related fields with a strong academic record. MBA Preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in management consulting, growth / performance marketing, or marketing analytics, preferably at a high-growth organization
  • Strong quantitative & analytical skills to drive insights to inform strategies, make decisions, optimize performance & drive innovation. 
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, & business acumen 
  • Ability to evaluate & prioritize initiatives to maximize business impact
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills. 
  • Experience in SQL, Google Sheets, and/or Excel 
  • Ability to use SalesForce Marketing Cloud, Tableau, Google & Meta Platforms is a plus
  • Experience managing customer lifecycle & segmentation strategies is a plus
