Sumo Logic is seeking an experienced product management leader to help define & drive the vision for our award-winning Sumo Logic platform that underpins our Log Analytics, Security, & Observability products.  

You will be working very closely with engineering, portfolio product management teams, sales & marketing to ensure successful delivery & execution in the market.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Defining vision, strategy & roadmap to deliver a product platform that our customers value & creates a leadership position for our products
• Identifying opportunities based on innovations, drive product development with multiple global teams
• Working as a player-coach to lead features while also leading a team
• Develop detailed product requirements, features, integrations & use cases. Own prioritization, functional requirements
• Working with your peers in product & portfolio management to prioritize features in-line with business objectives
• Working across teams in a global organization & being enthusiastic, self-motivated, & a great collaborator
• Lead & develop a team of highly motivated & created Product Managers
• Capture market & competitive intelligence to inform the platform direction

What you bring:

• 7+ years experience in Product Management and, preferably, exposure to a log analytics, security, or observability product area
• 3+ years experience managing teams
• Experience working directly with technical engineering teams & in a matrixed Product Management team environment
• An ability to navigate complex decision-making & effectively communicate across teams will be critical to success.
• Demonstrable ability to work effectively with both, technical & business leaders
• Understanding & ability to define technical specifications, write high-level documents, & interpret security & compliance requirements into concrete product requirements
• Excellent communication & proven track record with deep customer engagements, hands-on execution & timely delivery
• BS degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.  An MBA is a plus
