The Corporate Strategy team sits inside the Strategic Advisory department, which acts as the central hub for strategic support for leaders across Riot, & provides craft leadership to Riot for the disciplines of Business Strategy, Analytics, Research, Revenue Strategy & Strategic Finance. In this role, you will have the opportunity to leverage those resources & capabilities to develop data informed strategic recommendations & analyses.

As a Business Strategist III, you will flex as a BizOps generalist to tackle high-impact & prioritized projects, bridging strategy & execution. You will help shape & scale demand planning & scope/capacity frameworks across Riots game studios. This role combines high-level business strategy with hands-on operational design & rollout. Youll work at the intersection of studio needs, workforce planning, & cross-functional alignment, ensuring the right approach for operational excellence Youll partner closely with leaders across Game Studios, Finance, HRBPs, TA, & People Systems to co-create & implement scalable planning processes that support portfolio growth, prioritization, & tradeoff decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design & implementation of demand planning & scope/capacity analysis frameworks in support of operational goals
  • Partner with studio leadership & producers to translate product roadmaps into actionable talent & resource plans
  • Identify gaps between scope, demand, & available capacity, enabling proactive problem solving & strategic tradeoff conversations
  • Develop & roll out standardized planning rhythms & tools across studios in collaboration with Finance, HR, TA, & Systems teams
  • Drive the operationalization of operational processes across orgs, including intake, prioritization, & iterations
  • Translate complex data & org dynamics into clear insights & recommendations for senior leaders
  • Serve as a connective tissue across teams to align planning, reporting, & decision-making rhythms
  • Flex as a BizOps generalist to tackle high-impact & prioritized projects, bridging strategy & execution as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • 68+ years of experience in business strategy, operations, or workforce planning, ideally in consulting, gaming, entertainment, product-driven environment
  • Proven ability to design & scale cross-functional planning frameworks
  • Strong analytical & systems thinking skills; comfort working with unstructured or evolving data, & extracting insights
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate research, insights, & strategy into clear narratives for senior stakeholders
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on operational execution

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with resource management frameworks
  • Background in game development, entertainment, or creative organizations
  • Experience conducting in-depth market research & synthesize insights
  • Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools
