POSITION:  Senior Financial Analyst

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Own forecasting & financial analysis for several Tripadvisor business units;
• Help automate & optimize both business processes & reporting & analytics as it relates to the business units supported;
• Provide regular financial reporting for the senior business & financial leadership team;
• Develop & maintain a strong relationship with the GM, product, & analytics;
• Provide timely & dependable financial performance updates Finance Leadership & the organizations you support vs Plan, Prior Year & Prior Forecasts;
• Anticipate & communicate risks & opportunities;
• Work closely with the broader TripAdvisor Finance & Accounting teams to ensure that the business complies with TripAdvisors financial policies, processes, & calendar;
• and assist with ad hoc projects as needed.
• Telecommuting permitted up to 80%

REQUIREMENTS:

• The position requires a bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Accounting, or a related field plus 48 months of experience in the job offered or a Senior Financial Analyst-related occupation.
• Position also requires demonstrable experience with each of the following:
• Microsoft Excel including data & analysis tools, including SmartView;
• PowerPoint;
• Google Suite including Sheets & Slides;
• Qualitative & quantitative skills including communication, accounting literate (GAAP or otherwise known as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), interpersonal, attention-to-detail, problem-solving, critical-thinking, organization, analytical & project management;
• Forecasting tools including Hyperion Planning, Anaplan, Workday & Essbase;
• Tableau;
• Telecommuting permitted up to 80%
