Were seeking a Bartender to join our Cafe Team. The Bartender will report directly to the Service Manager. The Bartender/Barista is responsible for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention towards each customer.

What Youll Do:

• Ensures that all customers are educated on our products & services.
• Maintains the highest quality, consistent product standards, elevated service.
• Follows all Company beverage recipes & procedures.
• Passes monthly re-certifications in a timely manner.
• Develops an understanding of beverage programs including espresso drinks, wine selections, cocktails.
• Proficiently prepares espresso, tea, non-alcoholic & alcoholic beverages.
• Greets all customers with fast, friendly, personalized service & develops a rapport with customers by learning their names, favorite drinks & food items.
• Verbally receives & calls back customer orders in a friendly manner.
• Reports all customer complaints to the manager on duty.
• Responds proactively to prevent customer service situations.
• Full knowledge of both food & beverage menus required.
• Accurately rings orders into the Point of Sale system, issues bills & accepts payment.
• Answers customer questions regarding beverage preparation, & menu item preparation & ingredients.
• Serve customers during Breakfast, Lunch, & Evening meal periods.
• Maintains efficient, friendly service following Company steps of service & standard operating procedures
•  Routinely cleans the bar area, floor, windows & equipment, & takes out trash, etc.
• Sets dining tables for service according to Company guidelines.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure meal service is completed efficiently & effectively.
• Delivers food orders to coinciding tables & customers, while maintaining steps of service standards.
• Works closely with the Culinary team to ensure food orders are being delivered in a timely manner.
• Completes side work as assigned & as necessary.
• Assists in the distribution of weekly shipments.
• Responsible for bussing, maintaining & cleaning Club & Restaurant space.
• Reports potential safety hazards to the manager on duty.
• Reports all employee accidents to the manager on duty.
• Informs the manager on duty of any operational inconsistencies.

Compensation:

Full Time Hourly Rate: $18.00

This role is also eligible for Convene's annual incentive performance bonus plan.
