Hi, we're Oscar. We're hiring a Sr. Analyst to join our Virtual Care team.

About the role

You will work cross functionally with internal & external Oscar stakeholders & representing the needs & interests of the Virtual Care team in company wide initiatives. You will implement repeatable & scalable processes to support departmental goals & manage multiple projects across different stakeholders.

You will report to the Associate Director, Virtual Care.

Work Location:

If you live within commutable distance to our New York City office ( in Hudson Square), our Tempe office (off the 101 at University Ave), or our Los Angeles office (in Marina Del Rey), you will be expected to come into the office at least two days each week. Otherwise, this is a remote / work-from-home role.  

You must reside in one of the following states: Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, or Washington, D.C. Note, this list of states is subject to change. #LI-Remote

Pay Transparency:

The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, & Washington is: $76,800 - $100,800 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $69,120 - $90,720 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscars unlimited vacation program & annual performance bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the end-to-end management of cross-functional implementations/projects, including project plan creation, stakeholder engagement, managing cross-functional relationships to drive collaboration, edge case mitigation, & on-time completion. 
  • Support the evaluation of overall departmental performance by helping to create, gather, analyze & interpret data & metrics as well as assisting in the development of departmental metrics & implementation of mitigation strategies.
  • Collaboratively works with all relevant internal & external stakeholder groups to formulate proactive implementation, communications, & program strategies for successful change management & risk mitigation initiatives. 
  • Compliance with all applicable laws & regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience using data & metrics to drive improvements.
  • 1+ years of experience in process improvement & workflow design.
  • 1+ year of proven proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint and/or comparable programs within the Google Docs Editors suite (e.g., Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides).

Bonus Points

  • Experience / background in a fast-paced operations environment. 
  • Healthcare experience (Health Insurance, Health Systems, or Healthcare Consulting).

Pay Transparency: 

Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education, & experience.
