As the HR Director, you will serve as a strategic partner, working closely with our global Talent team to ensure that the needs of all Critical Mass employees are well-represented. You will play a pivotal role in various stages of the employee life cycle, including performance management, coaching, career development, & driving strategic HR initiatives.

The Human Resources Director will report directly to the VP of Human Resources.


What Youll Do:

 Strategic Partnership: 

  • Act as a strategic partner to employees & leaders, providing guidance on internal conflicts, advising on development opportunities, & resolving complex employee relations issues
  • Collaborate with account leadership, the Global Talent team, & career developers to enhance employee development & lead global projects
  • Support overall organizational staff planning & strategy, working closely with HR Leadership, resource management, & discipline leads

 Performance Management: 

  • Collaborate with the Global Human Resources team to ensure timely completion of performance reviews
  • Conduct Talent Mapping sessions with account leaders, fostering transparency & proactively outlining career paths for our employees
  • Oversee & manage the Human Resources team, supporting their professional development, growth, & effective execution of Human Resources programs & initiatives

HR Operations: 

  • Conduct regular reviews of Critical Mass's policies & procedures to identify opportunities for enhancements, ensuring that we consistently meet the evolving needs of our employees
  • Educate employees on the appropriate interpretation of policies & procedures, & effectively communicate any updates or changes
  • Lead & coordinate efforts with the HR team to ensure seamless execution & communication of new-hire information, employee changes, promotions, & salary increases
  • Stay informed about industry events, news, networking opportunities, & employment regulations/laws, keeping our organization up-to-date & compliant
  • Collaborate with HR Leadership to establish a structured communication schedule for employees, including regular weekly & monthly meetings. Use internal messaging channels such as Teams to distribute information from the Leadership Team & address individual, group, department, & office-related concerns

Must-Haves:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years in senior human resources leadership roles
  • Extensive HR experience in a software, agency, or interactive web development environment
  • Demonstrated ability to establish trust & inspire confidence across various levels of an organization
  • Proven track record of driving pragmatic decision-making in a collaborative, fast-paced, team-based environment
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead, delegate, motivate, mentor, & build high-performing teams
  • Exceptional ability to handle conflict, challenging situations, & work effectively with diverse working styles
  • Strategic & tactical expertise in organizing & structuring operational activities
  • Proficient in mediation, negotiation, & delivering impactful presentations
