About the Role

The Senior Manager of Corporate Finance will lead all aspects of our Corporate Finance function. Reporting to the VP of FP&A, this person will own & drive adherence to the financial planning calendar, provide analytical, strategic & storytelling partnership for Board reporting & investor relations, lead the monthly close reviews with the CFO, & own 3-statement modeling & forecasting. Your ability to assess complex operational & strategic issues combined with a strong foundation in finance is critical to success in this role. This is an ideal role for someone who is excited about the opportunity to consolidate & oversee the complete picture of our company performance & thrives on deriving insights & business recommendations from the financial statements. In this role, you will be a key partner during the strategic planning & annual budget processes, building scenarios & helping business leaders understand the implications of their proposed strategies.

You're excited about this opportunity because you will

  • Lead a team of 2-3 people owning all aspects of Corporate Finance, including running the processes for annual budgeting, monthly forecasting & monthly close reviews, as well as partnership around Board reporting & investor relations. 
  • Proactively provide actionable insights & data to the Finance & executive leadership team to align short- & long-term financial plans.
  • Analyze business performance by identifying gaps between forecast & goals; providing feedback to senior leadership regarding risks & opportunities
  • Own & drive the financial planning calendar
  • Deliver monthly 3-statement models including projections of free cash flow
  • Drive strong storytelling across reporting (internal, BOD & external)
  • Lead & perform ad-hoc analysis
  • Become a trusted business partner & help drive financially sound business decisions

Were excited about you because

  • You have a Bachelors degree in Economics, Finance, Business, Mathematics, or related fields
  • You have 8+ years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, & forecasting, or in a related finance function such as investment banking, private equity, venture capital, consulting
  • You have extremely strong financial modeling skills & high proficiency in finance, accounting, & strategy
  • You have experience presenting to a C-level audience at a large, public company
  • You have excellent analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, & project management skills & the ability to spot trends in large amounts of data
  • Youre able to identify opportunities for business improvement & take initiative to drive the necessary changes
  • You understand that this role is "hybrid" & are able to be in office 2-3 days a week in our San Francisco HQ office
  • Above all else, you are bright, kind, & motivated by challenge

Compensation & Benefits

Our anticipated compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets, & the range below indicates the low end of the lowest-compensated market to the high end of the highest-compensated market. This position is eligible for new hire & ongoing grants of restricted stock units depending on employee & company performance.
