Smartling, a leader in using artificial intelligence to revolutionize translation & localization services, is seeking an experienced Product Manager who can take charge & work with our customers & internal stakeholders to define & build features to optimize work. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development of the Smartling platform. You will work directly with engineering, service & customer teams to build requirements & shape the future of our tools for customers. You Will

• Be responsible for driving our vision & working with your engineering team to deliver user-friendly features
• Regularly engage with customers, users & internal business stakeholders to surface insights & problem statements to inform the Vendor Experiences roadmap & vision
• Partner with your engineers & designer to define & finalize feature requirements
• Own, define & execute on your Roadmap - aligning it to the company strategy
• Validate & prioritize all incoming feedback to find features that will help us achieve our vision
• Support our Customer Success & Support teams with any customer questions
• Work with our Documentation & Training team to develop internal & external communication material
• Stay up to date with competitor tools & offerings

You Have

• 5+ years of product management or project leadership experience.
• Technical experience in understanding data tools such as Looker and  MySQL
• Technical experience & a thorough understanding of file types such as JSON, XML, & HTML
• Understanding of Product Design fundamentals & SaaS User Experience patterns
• Ability to clearly & effectively communicate with different stakeholders - connecting with customers, end users, vendors & internal teams
• Experience investigating user problems & needs & translating them to actionable themes that drive towards the Product Vision
• Comfort level making decisions with the knowledge at hand
• Experience partnering closely with design & engineering - getting to know the details of the design & technical solution
• Prior experience in prioritizing features & working with development teams in defining requirements & developing a Roadmap
• A home office setup conducive for working remotely, & the ability to work effectively as a remote team member*

Preferred but not required

• Previous experience working with localization software or involvement in localization processes
• Technical knowledge - understanding the development of web apps, both Backend & Frontend
