About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled & detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our Product team & support MAX, our flagship managed cybersecurity service. In this role, youll be responsible for creating clear, concise, & accurate documentation that enables internal teams, customers, & partners to effectively understand & use MAX. You'll collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, & Customer Success to develop user guides, release notes, technical FAQs, & process documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, & maintain technical documentation for MAX, including product guides, onboarding materials, runbooks, release notes, knowledge base articles, & internal SOPs.
  • Translate complex cybersecurity concepts & managed service workflows into easy-to-understand content tailored to different audiences (technical & non-technical).
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Security Operations, & Customer Success to ensure documentation is complete, accurate, & aligned with product updates.
  • Contribute to the development of training & enablement materials for internal stakeholders & end users.
  • Establish & maintain a consistent tone, structure, & style across all MAX documentation.
  • Proactively identify documentation gaps & continuously improve content based on user feedback & product evolution.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a technical writer, preferably in a SaaS, cybersecurity, or managed services environment.
  • Batchelor's degree
  • Proven ability to write for both technical & non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, SOC operations, or security tooling preferred.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills & the ability to work independently & cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with documentation platforms such as Confluence, GitHub, Notion, or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience documenting APIs, integrations, or product architectures.
  • Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks.
  • Background in journalism, English, technical communication, or a related field.

The estimated total compensation range for this position is $160,000 - $200,000 (base plus bonus). Actual compensation for the position is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to affordability, skills, qualifications & experience, & may vary from the range. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible for annual performance-based incentive compensation awards & equity, among other company benefits.
