FabFitFun is looking for an Associate Buyer to join our Merchandising Department! This Assistant Buyer will help support our Beauty vertical as they build & maintain brand partnerships to drive growth across our seasonal subscription box & corresponding e-Commerce flash sales. 

Location: This role is based out of our HQ in Beverly Hills, CA & is not eligible for remote. We are presently operating from a hybrid schedule of 4 days a week in-office (Monday-Thursday). Hybrid schedule/cadence subject to change at any time. 

What Youll Do

• Drive & exceed revenue goals by managing a portion of Tier 2 & 3 brand relationships (new & existing)
• Source products & follow up on leads across the Skincare, & Bath & Body category for e-Commerce opportunities
• Foster brand relationships to ensure brand growth where applicable, member satisfaction, & retention
• Partners with Senior Buyer & Buyer on creating a balanced, diversified assortment that serves members & business in a strategic, focused way
• Negotiate & create vendor agreements & contracts with brands
• Displays understanding of the components of product & style within category & is able to clearly & effectively speak to them 
• Ensure on time delivery & data accuracy of products on site
• Work with our Customer Service team to communicate product related issues
• Help manage brand campaigns with our Marketing & Editorial teams
• Provides clear & timely communication as it relates to PO management, vendor needs, & internal deliverables
• Contributes to business analysis (hindsights) & recommends key takeaways to influence & support strategies
• Support Director & Sr Buyer by entering & maintaining accurate brand data & assets in SalesForce, Ironclad, Wrike, & updating internal documents

What Youll Bring

• 2-3 years of buying or merchandising experience (preferably within an e-commerce environment) with proven abilities in relationship management & exposure to negotiations & contracts 
• Bachelors degree in Merchandising, Business, Communications or a related field
• Experience negotiating complex deals with vendors
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, & presentation skills
• Ability to operate independently while establishing strong working relationships with co-workers & cross-functional teams
• Exceptional communication & presentation skills
• Solution oriented with ability to evaluate scenarios prior to bringing to Director/Senior Buyer
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Google Suite, Salesforce, & have aptitude to learn technical applications quickly
• Possess strong organizational & time management skills
• Ability to adapt well to change in direction & priority in a fast-paced environment

The expected salary for this position is $70,000. The compensation package will also include an initial equity grant, in addition to a range of generous medical, dental, vision & other perks & benefits.Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of job-related factors such as skill set, geographic location, market demands, experience, & education / certifications.
