THE ROLE: On-Call Stylist

The Photo Stylist is responsible for pre-production, production & post production for both Rue La La & Gilt content. This role works to maintain creative styling quality for both product & digital asset production. They will work collaboratively with photographers, stylists & art directors.

We are looking for candidates who are interested in learning more about the world of e-commerce & fashion! Anticipated working hours will be 16-20 hours per week, anytime between 7:00 AM & 5:00 PM (Monday through Friday) in our Shepherdsville, KY studio.

What You'll Do:

• Partner with the art directors, photographer, & set team members to execute the creative vision for all digital assets & ensure flawless execution on a daily basis. 
• Styling clothing on model in a high-pace e-commerce environment. Staying up to date with brand knowledge & fashion trends.
• Assist team members with styling & prop closet strategy in advance of each season. 
• Ensure content adheres to internal & external style guides.
• Maintain vendor packaging, sku tags, apparel tags, & noting any damages that may have occurred throughout the production process.
• Ability to work with a team to accomplish deadlines & production efficiency.
• Flexible & able to handle last minute changes in the moment. 

 Physical Requirements: 

• Standing for up to 10 hours
• Must be willing & able to frequently squat, bend, stoop, & reach for up to 10 hours.

• 4+ years of experience as a Stylist in a high volume production studio, preferably with an emphasis on fashion or home. 
• Proven experience collaborating with a photographer & art director 
• Strong experience working with models, sets, & props
• Deep understanding of digital photography, production studio pace & efficiency
• Background in art, design, fashion, merchandising or photography
• Strong communication & collaboration skills
