As an Online Content Editor in Amsterdam, youll be responsible for reviewing & curating content that appears in mobile news feeds for Dutch & Belgian French-speaking users across major smartphone platforms. Youll work with leading global OEMs to ensure Taboolas content recommendations are timely, relevant, & high-quality reflecting the interests of local audiences in the Netherlands & Belgium.

Your role will be critical in shaping content feeds that inform & engage millions of users each day.

To thrive in this role, youll need:

• Native or professional fluency in Dutch, Belgian French, & English


• 2+ years of experience in digital journalism, editing, or publishing


• Deep familiarity with Dutch & Belgian media, politics, & popular culture


• Ability to work independently & manage content curation with minimal supervision


• Technologically savvy, with comfort using editorial or content management tools

Bonus points if you have:

• Experience working with content recommendation platforms, SEO, or mobile content delivery


• Background in news curation, editorial policy, or audience engagement

As an Online Content Editor, youll bring value by:

• Reviewing & selecting relevant news & editorial content for local mobile news feeds


• Ensuring selected articles meet Taboolas standards for content policy, legality, recency, & source diversity


• Applying strong editorial judgment to ensure vertical/category balance & cultural relevance


• Monitoring news trends & adapting selection accordingly


• Flagging any content risks, policy violations, or misinformation concerns


• Supporting platform quality with consistent & timely content decisions
