The Consumer Engineering Team at CarGurus is looking for a skilled Senior Software Architect who can help drive the efficiency with which we deliver & evolve our industry leading products. The team has embarked on an extensive re-architecture initiative as we migrate our frontend to a server-side rendered architecture. What You'll Do:

• Work in a fast-paced environment that allows you to push to production daily
• Be deeply engaged in the full development lifecycle & work closely with the product team
• Share your technical expertise during architectural design discussions, technology selection, & hands-on mentorship
• Collaborate with your colleagues in a lively, congenial atmosphere

Who You Are:

• Proven full-stack development experience with JavaScript, Node.js, & React
• Deep understanding of modern JavaScript design patterns
• Experience with Express, NextJS, or similar
• Server-side rendered React experience is a major plus
• Passionate about writing performant, extensible code
• Self-led, capable of working with little direction
• Skilled communicator with a collaborative spirit
