About The Team:
This role is responsible for overseeing an area of the production process during the shift, to ensure that the KPIs & our Customer expectations are met in full & on time. You will collaborate closely with other departments to meet production targets while maintaining the highest standards health & safety & food safety & quality standards.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Undertaking basic problem solving activities & escalating to the BOL Team Leader where necessary.
- Ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures & Instructions.
- Ensure compliance to the CILT standard within BOL tasks.
- Support the BOL Team Leader in ensuring the machine uptime is in alignment with KPIs.
- Be involved in downtime reduction projects, or any other ad hoc projects as & when required.
- Ensure that machine settings & basic conditions are adhered to & upheld & report any issues to the Engineering Department.
- Maintain cleanliness & organisation within the warehouse, including workstations, storage areas, & equipment.
- Being involved in ad hoc projects as & when required.
- Monitor the production line, identifying & addressing any issues to maintain continuous flow & meet production targets.
Who You Are:
Proven experience in a manufacturing or distribution centre environment.
Practical knowledge & experience in an operational environment.
Proficiency in using computer software & systems.
Strong prioritisation skills & ability to multitask.
Proven knowledge of warehouse & production environment.
Strong interpersonal & communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead & motivate a diverse team.
Problem-solving skills & the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced production environment.
Excellent organisational & time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks & meet deadlines.
