The Email Developer (ED) is responsible for designing & writing code & providing support to build also responsive email designs. They need to know HTML, CSS & media query, the ED is able to work independently tasks, assuming ownership for the design & programming required. ED should handle the code very well, to developing a responsive email, this individual will rely on existing designs. The ED should also be able to provide accurate estimates for his tasks.
You will:
- Work with the design team, Tech Leads & PM's.
- Develop responsive email design.
- Coach & support other Email Developers in fulfill their tasks & improving their skills.
- Ensure that implementation matches the design, including syncing.
- Customize HTML, CSS, & JS code generated by various tools.
- Optimize HTML, CSS, & JS code to achieve maximum performance with minimum size.
- Ensure email environments compatibility.
- Willing to work overtime & research online marketing resolutions.
- Be aware & having a proactive, mindful eye to problem identification & mitigation
(associated with execution of HTML Email Campaigns).
- Use the following programs Excel, Good Docs, Adobe Creative Suite, MailChimp, HTML/CSS Skills.
You have:
- English Proficiency (C1)
- At least 2-3 years email specific development experience
- Knowledge on pixel perfect implementation on htmls.
- Knowledge for MSO compatibility & issues related fixes.
- Optimize Images, HTML, CSS code to achieve maximum performance with minimum size.
- Experience dev skills in HTML, CSS
- Hands on QA experience utilizing Litmus or similar.
- Photoshop, Sketch proficiency required to manipulate assets.
- Detail oriented, organized, & the ability to meet deadlines while working with some projects at the same time.
- Proven experience with modern web standards & cross-browser compatibility issues
- Experience with front end, JavaScript & frameworks.
- Ability to work with IDEs (Sublime Text or Visual Studio Code is required)
- Experience working with mobile & web templates
- Implementation of Email templates.
- Knowledge in W3C Standards (or able to learn quickly about them).
- Independent, responsible, & proactive with the ability to learn & achieve superior results.
