As a Publisher Sales Manager on the Publisher Sales Team in our Tokyo office, youll play a vital role in identifying, sourcing & structuring new publisher partnerships independently.
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- Experience in structuring & negotiating deals / strategic partnerships within the Japan market
- Experience independently building, pursuing & closing a large pipeline of leads
- To be technologically savvy with the ability to learn what is needed to support a deals successful implementation & optimization
- To have native level Japanese language skills & able to communicate in English
- To have the ability to work in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment & consistently learn, adapt, & develop
- To have experience with long sales cycles (able to pursue & close partnerships over the long term)
- To be detail orientated - candidates should be comfortable analysing & talking about data as part of the sales process
Bonus points if you have:
- Existing experience & connections in adtech market - however, we are open to talent from non-adtech backgrounds
How youll make an impact:
- Sell multiple products to clients by finding the right stakeholders for each product
- Manage a robust pipeline & accurately forecast new business closure rate & revenue booked
- Work closely with the APAC Account Management teams to manage & develop long-term client relationships
- Independently build a large pipeline of leads, pursue them & close deals as well as developing those relationships in new markets
- Manage presentations, build relationships & negotiate contracts
- Interact with our project implementation team to effectively manage client expectations & ensure successful implementation of our widgets & technology
- Proactively seek market feedback on the Taboola platform & work with product team to help develop market-leading functionality
