About the job

As a UI Web Designer, you'll be responsible for creating visually appealing & user-friendly web interfaces. Collaborating with our creative,  product & development teams, you'll translate user needs into intuitive designs. Your role involves crafting wireframes, mockups, & prototypes, ensuring responsive & accessible web applications. Proficiency in design Figma is essential. If you're passionate about creating engaging web experiences, we'd love to have you on our team!

Responsibilities

In this role, youll:

  • Create a wide variety of UI deliverables for the Twilio.com website, including graphics, illustrations, page layouts, animations, & other design artifacts as needed
  • Work closely with UX, Content, & Engineering teams to turn design ideas & concepts into user-facing web pages
  • Interact with key stakeholders across the organization to understand how to effectively visually communicate SaaS products & use cases
  • Contribute toward furthering existing design system
  • Translate new branding into a cohesive sitewide experience, incorporating new look & feel into web design layouts, components, & elements
  • Implement responsive designs that improve the user's experience on desktop & mobile devices
  • Participate in weekly design review meetings
  • Maintain current understanding of advances in design, technology, & trends, knowledge of design software capabilities & limitations

Required:

  • Candidates should have experience working on multiple projects, a willingness to meet quick turnarounds & fast deadlines, & ability to prioritize projects & tasks.
  • Able to take feedback & translate it to actionable solutions
  • Ability to collaborate & facilitate the visual representation of concepts
  • Understanding of basic accessibility requirements (AA, WCAG 2.1)
  • Understand basic HTML markup language
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Illustrator & Photoshop) & Figma
  • Experience with or maintained design system
  • Experience with creating illustrations
  • Familiarity with AEM
  • Experience with Lottie, & creating animations is a plus
  • Self-sufficient & self-motivated
  • Excellent design skills & a strong portfolio

Location

 This role will be <emote, & based in Bogota, Colombia.

Travel
