The role

As an Operations Researcher, you will be joining an international, cross-functional team who is revolutionizing the way we manage our supply chain processes, from menu planning, via production management, to logistics. As part of your responsibilities, you will play a key role in improving & expanding our production & logistics planning capabilities. Your work will have an immediate impact on our business operations performance.

What youll do

• Create mathematical optimization models & tools to solve practical business problems in production & logistics planning; roll them out
• Own your projects, implement your vision to our tools & processes
• Develop data pipelines & support the creation of dashboards to provide actionable insights & showcase the business impact of your tools
• Identify problems proactively, formulate & implement robust & data-driven solutions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders as well as coordinate with engineering & other data teams
• Promote the teams enthusiasm for data-drivenness & ensure company-wide commitment to optimization paradigms

What youll bring

• Master degree from a top-tier university in Operations Research, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering or Management Science
• Must be proficient in mathematical programming & familiar with Operations Research concepts (experience with tools like Cplex, Gurobi, AIMS or similar is a plus)
• 2+ year relevant industrial experience that showcase your ability to put optimization models into use
• Applied knowledge in Python, SQL & experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker etc.
• Excellent written & verbal communication & presentation skills with both business & technical stakeholders
• Must be highly proactive, autonomous, possess advanced problem-solving ability, critical & strategic thinking
• Highly effective & excellent project management skills; the ability to participate & lead high-profile projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
