About the Role
Were seeking motivated software engineers with strong development skills. As part of our product team, youll build & deploy AI-driven products that impact millions of users. Youll collaborate closely with a small group of talented engineers & product managers, all focused on advancing our AI mission.

What Youll Do

• Work with product & research partners to design, implement, & deploy backend & data systems for AI-enabled use cases
• Architect & maintain scalable, reliable services & pipelines
• Take ownership of projects: prototype rapidly, drive them through to production, & iterate based on feedback
• Ensure code quality through robust testing, debugging, documentation, & code reviews
• Continuously explore & adopt new development tools & AI-assisted coding workflows
• Monitor system performance & contribute to reliability & optimization efforts

What Wed Like to See in You

• Excellent coding skills underpinned by a strong grasp of algorithms, data structures, & libraries
• Proven ability to troubleshoot & debug within complex software environments
• Proficiency with backend development languages, cloud infrastructure, data frameworks (e.g., Spark), & database systems (SQL/NoSQL)
• Solid software engineering practices including version control, unit testing, modular design, & clean interfaces
• Self-starter mentality: resourceful, analytical, & comfortable with ambiguity
• Passion for learning, growth, & expanding your skills over time
• Proven team player who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field
• 13 years of experience in backend or data-focused software roles
• Solid experience in backend programming languages (e.g., Java, C++, Scala, Python)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS), data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark), & both relational & NoSQL databases
• Handson use of version control systems (e.g., Git), testing frameworks, & modern development workflows

Base Salary Pay Range: $112k $146k USD
