Role Description
As an Account Manager for Dash, you will take ownership of a high-potential territory in Australia, focused on acquiring strategic, high-value customers. Youll play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, cultivating executive-level relationships, & helping organisations unlock the power of Dropbox AI solutions.
This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with our global teams, gain exposure to senior leadership, & influence how customers reimagine digital collaboration & content intelligence. Youll be at the forefront of shaping Dropbox's impact in the Australian market.
Responsibilities
- Develop & execute a territory-specific strategy to drive new business & pipeline generation.
- Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders & multiple lines of business within target accounts.
- Understand & articulate customer pain points & how Dropbox AI & Dash address those challenges.
- Collaborate with local channel partners to co-sell & uncover growth opportunities.
- Partner closely with marketing, product, & customer success teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Lead comprehensive account planning, from early engagement to deal closure & post-sale handoff.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, & customer meetings to build brand visibility & momentum in-market.
- Accurately forecast, manage, & report on sales activity, pipeline, & revenue targets using CRM tools.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in B2B software sales, including managing & closing complex, strategic deals
- Proven ability to build & manage senior-level customer relationships
- Demonstrated success in pipeline generation, opportunity qualification, & negotiation
- A results-driven mindset with strong business acumen & the ability to work autonomously
- Skilled at navigating ambiguity & driving alignment across internal & external stakeholders
- Experience collaborating with channel partners & cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to influence global teams
- Willingness to travel within Australia for customer & partner meetings & events
- Proficiency in using CRM platforms such as Salesforce to manage & track deals & performance
- Comfortable working in a Virtual First environment with occasional in-person engagements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in or selling to AI-driven, SaaS, or start-up environments
- Familiarity with technology ecosystems such as Symantec, AWS, GCP, & Salesforce
- Track record of closing deals in collaboration with partner networks or reseller channels
- Knowledge of the enterprise or mid-market tech landscape
