Sumo Logic is seeking an experienced product management leader to help define & drive the vision for data collection for our observability product portfolio.  You will be working very closely with engineering, portfolio product management teams, sales & marketing to ensure successful delivery & execution in the market.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Defining vision, strategy & roadmap to deliver an observability data collection experience that is intuitive, shows quick time to value & creates a leadership position for our observability products
• Working with requirements for multiple observability data collection technologies such as Open Telemetry, cloud APIs, & infrastructure & application event data
• Identifying opportunities based on innovations, drive product development with multiple global teams
• Develop detailed product requirements, features, integrations & use cases. Own prioritization & functional requirements
• Lead & develop a team of highly motivated & created Product Managers
• Capture market & competitive intelligence to inform the platform direction

What you bring:

• 5+ years experience in Product Management and, preferably, exposure to a log analytics, security, or observability product area
• Experience working directly with technical engineering teams & in a matrixed Product Management team environment
• Direct experience with Open Telemetry is highly desirable
• An ability to navigate complex decision-making & effectively communicate across teams will be critical to success.
• Demonstrable ability to work effectively with both, technical & business leaders
• Understanding & ability to define technical specifications, write high-level documents, & interpret security & compliance requirements into concrete product requirements
• Excellent communication & proven track record with deep customer engagements, hands-on execution & timely delivery
• BS degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.  An MBA is a plus
