What can you expect in this role: 

Teads is looking for an exceptional Sales Manager with an entrepreneur mindset & plays a key part in our continued success & presents a great opportunity to learn sales & digital advertising at an innovative, industry-leading ad tech company. 

Reporting to the Head of Sales, youll be responsible for growing new business for agencies & brands. Naturally, you will have experience bringing in new business & have a strong understanding of programmatic advertising. 

The ideal candidate possesses comprehensive experience in the digital advertising industry, along with thorough knowledge of the market. They should thrive in both independent work & collaborative team efforts, demonstrating a proactive approach in taking ownership of managing annual revenue targets.

  • Identify, pitch, & close sales deals with media agencies & brands
  • Develop strong, mutually beneficial relationships with clients
  • Collaborate & work closely with other departments (sales, ad ops, publisher & design teams) to ensure client campaign expectations are communicated internally
  • Represent Teads & be a brand ambassador in the online advertising marketplace
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction to generate renewals & increase incremental revenue 
  • Responsible in hitting own monthly & quarterly revenue targets

About You:

  • A fantastic track record of prospecting & delivering success
  • Minimum 5 years of digital advertising sales experience; preferably within the adtech or online media industry
  • Strong understanding of the digital landscape & programmatic is a must
  • Strong networking ability & proven connections with major advertising agencies
  • Good technical knowledge & understanding of ad-serving & tracking technologies
  • Proven track record of winning large accounts
  • A team player with the ability to learn quickly & a self-motivated starter.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills
  • Ability to resolve queries efficiently, to multitask, & communicate across teams
  • Entrepreneur & solution driven mentality
  • Fluent in Japanese with business-level English is a must
