Our Technology Banking teams are responsible for relationship management of commercial bank clients and delivery of core commercial banking products and broader SVB financial services. We are adding a new Relationship Manager (RM) to our senior team. Responsible for delivering value and a world-class experience to or clients, RMs are trusted advisors, a source of insights, and advocates within SVB and the innovation ecosystem. Our RMs are responsible for acquiring, orchestrating, and growing entire client and ecosystem relationships; deepening relationships within the C-Suite; consulting on, and cross-selling, the entire SVB platform (i.e. Treasury management to Debt financing to the Private Bank, etc.) to address client business and personal needs; orchestrating cross-functional SVB teams to optimize the client experience; and building real relationships to differentiate SVB with all key influencers in the market.

As a senior evangelist, leader, and ambassador focused on the US Israeli community, you will:

Expand and build deep and impactful relationships with the ecosystem's most influential and impactful organizations and leaders (entrepreneurs, executives, and senior professionals) with roots in Israel, resulting in growth of market share and client acquisition for SVB
Effectively manage a portfolio of client, prospect, and influential relationships in the community
Partner with internal colleagues to coordinate and collaborate on constituent relationships, ensuring a cohesive strategy for engagement, i.e.,
Share market insights, intel, and recommendations with leadership and the team to further refine our strategy, priorities, partnerships and origination channels
Determine and deliver on successful marketing, programming, events, and content to meet our goals in-market
As an influential ambassador for SVB, be personally active in the market and represent SVB at important industry events and deliver educational and advisory content for target communities #LI-TR1


Expertise: Active for 10+ years (combined) in the innovation and/or tech community in New York; and committed to active participation in the Israeli community in the region. Comfortable initiating relationships, managing partnerships, executing on agreements. You can assess opportunities, devise strategy, form plans, manage budget, oversee teams, coordinate in project teams, and collaborate well across groups.
Financial Acumen: Experience in banking or financial services or investments strongly preferred (not required), but a fundamental understanding of regulated industries required. Understanding of the capital structure of venture backed technology companies needed.
Goal Oriented: Meet ambitious targets in a very fast-paced environment. Adept at managing conflicting or competing priorities, and finite resources. Adaptable. Enjoys constant evolution. Data driven. Capable of using both data and intuition to deliver results. Likes to optimize. Agility - comfort with ambiguity and change.
Execution: Can motivate a broad team of direct/indirect staff, to develop authentic relationships with the most influential and impactful organizations in the startup ecosystem. Actively shares viewpoints and information with colleagues and peers to form recommendations. Takes responsibility for your “domain” and develops specialist expertise. Ensure cohesion across our business and delivers quarterly business reviews to show progress to goals. Some P&L accountability experience and ability to measure results.
Collaborative: influencing, mentoring and coaching for results. Enjoys negotiation, consensus-building. Has gravitas and charisma. Partners extremely well with internal colleagues in Technology Banking division to deliver Integrated Wins.
New Business: Knows how to leverage analytics to reach people. Persistent and resourceful. Able to ideate and devise new ways to engage clients and prospects. Pipeline development and management. Cross sell SVB platform. Comfortable with ambiguity. Able to deal with difficult or dissatisfied clients. Motivated to solve issues and thinks about solutions - not problems.
Brand Builder: Can represent, with confidence, and bring a unique and informed POV. Comfortable as a spokesperson at important industry events, delivering (educational and advisory) content for founders - often through partners. Able to converse with executives, serial entrepreneurs, first-time founders, early stage investors, and stakeholders. Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills requisite.
Bilingual or multilingual (English and Hebrew or Arabic) helpful, but not required.
