The role

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Nutrition with a Registered Dietitian designation to support & raise the bar on nutritional excellence for our newest brand, Factor: a healthy, ready-to-eat meal delivery service. 

In this role, you will ensure our meals meet the dietary needs of our customers, develop & manage a nutrition coaching program for customers & prospects, & manage the nutrition facts database of all of our products. Reporting into the Head of Product, youll work closely with our Culinary, Kitchen Ops, Procurement, & Regulatory teams to ensure were delivering the best possible product every week, & help us build the future of the ready-to-eat category in Europe!

What youll do

• Oversee & maintain the nutritional database for all recipes & ingredients, ensuring accuracy & proactively identifying opportunities for us to improve the nutritional quality of our products 
• Maintain, clarify, & improve our internal nutrition standards, conduct competitive benchmarking, & lead projects to improve nutrition analysis assumptions & inputs
• Collaborate closely with our Culinary team to review & approve recipe formulations, provide guidance on ingredient & method choices, & optimize recipes for nutrition, performance, & customer value
• Approve weekly menus, new SKUs, & ingredient substitutions from a nutritional perspective, coordinating with Sourcing & Regulatory teams to ensure compliance & accuracy in labeling systems
• Develop, manage, & scale our nutrition consultation program, including hiring & overseeing part-time dietitians, reporting on program quality & effectiveness, & hosting customer-facing sessions as needed
• Respond to customer nutrition inquiries & share customer insights to inform product & content strategy
• Create nutrition-focused content for PR, social media, & customer education, & support marketing & growth initiatives with credible, engaging messaging
• Advise on nutrition & ingredient claims, ensuring they are substantiated, accurate, & aligned with brand positioning & regulatory expectations

What youll bring

• 5+ years of experience working as a Registered Dietician; active certification/licence in the EU
• Highly knowledgeable about a wide range of dietary lifestyles, such as GLP-1 support, ketogenic diet, low/slow carb diet, vegan & vegetarian diets, etc. 
• A strong understanding of local & broader pan-European dietary trends, regulations, & restrictions; a passion for staying up to speed on the most current research on the science of nutrition
• Experience working in a client-facing role, in which trust-building, coaching, & guidance were paramount to success 
• A pragmatic approach: you believe that perfect is the enemy of better, & are able to balance the priorities of many different departments to help us improve
• A strong project management toolkit: you are highly organized & detail-oriented, with well-developed strategies for never missing a deadline or overlooking a key detail
• An entrepreneurial streak: you enjoy working in small teams, taking ownership of new opportunities, & are constantly looking for ways to improve upon things
• Experience working in recipe development (or new product development) is a plus
