WHY BOX NEEDS YOU

The Business Development team drives partnerships & strategic initiatives that play an outsized role in differentiating & scaling Box. We work closely with external partners & across functions to identify, build, & manage enterprise partnerships & product integrations, fostering innovation & a vibrant ecosystem that yield customer value. As part of this entrepreneurial & results-oriented team, you will have an opportunity to define game-changing partnerships & the critical work that enable them.

Were looking for an experienced business development & partnership professional to run & evolve Boxs extensive technology partner ecosystem & accelerate relationships with leading enterprise software companies. You will develop & execute partnership strategies & their underlying operations, influence & launch new SaaS integrations, & evangelize them to go-to-market teams.

This role will report to the Director responsible for our technology partner ecosystem, & will collaborate closely with Box & leaders in business development, product management, engineering, legal, marketing, public relations, & customer-facing organizations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Lead Box's partner operations strategy, & continuously improve partner programs & operations, & develop new ways to scale how Box runs its technology partner ecosystems
  • Deepen key partner relationships with global software companies, with the goal of maximizing customer value & integration adoption
  • Establish & oversee key performance indicators to measure the success, impact, & health of Boxs partner ecosystem
  • Identify, motivate, & guide partners to integrate with Box in efficient, novel ways based on customer needs, market changes, competitive threats, solution gaps, & strategic opportunities
  • Support the creation of new ecosystems that align to & extend Box native capabilities in a targeted way
  • Manage the technology partner lifecycle from executing agreements, onboarding apps, & enabling go-to-market teams to grow & expand partnerships that drive customer value
  • Drive awareness & adoption of partner integrations through targeted communications, such as presentations, newsletters, blog posts, webinars, & events
  • Represent Box to partners, customers, & external audiences of all types in various forums, from high-profile meetings to conferences & trade shows

WHO YOU ARE

  • You are experienced in managing & running large scale technology partner programs, & in defining & executing partner their underlying operations
  • You have a passion for finding common ground & are excited by the process of building strong relationships with new & existing partners
  • You are a strategic, analytical thinker with exceptional communication skills, a bias toward action, & an ownership mentality
  • You are equally comfortable operating at 10,000 feet as you are at ten feet, & enjoy getting into the weeds to streamline processes & also painting the big picture
  • You exhibit a strong product sense & have some experience working with technical stakeholders & applying an understanding of partner integrations, API-based integrations, & user-facing products
  • You have proven experience in successfully leading complex, long-term projects while collaborating with functional internal & external stakeholders
  • You have 4+ years of experience in managing partners & programs at an enterprise SaaS or software company & a track record of results with unequivocal integrity
  • You have a bachelor's degree, & preferably also an MBA or other post graduate degree

You are in an office based role with the expectation of working from the Redwood City, California a minimum of 2x/week.
