The role
As the Total Rewards Lead, you will lead the development & execution of total rewards initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You will oversee the design, implementation, & management of compensation & benefits programs, including executive compensation, base salary, variable pay, & equity plans. This role involves managing compensation & benefits administration, providing hands-on support with job evaluations, salary structures, & incentive programs. You will develop & implement recognition programs to drive employee engagement & retention, analyze market trends to ensure competitiveness, & manage vendor relationships & contracts with external partners. Collaboration with HR leadership on total rewards communication & education initiatives, along with developing & delivering communications & training on total rewards programs to employees, managers, & other stakeholders, will be key components of your responsibilities.
What youll do
- Ensure that the total rewards programs comply with all relevant laws, regulations, & company policies.
- Demonstrate strong strategic understanding of organizational goals & contribute to aligning initiatives.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders (employees, HR, external providers, leadership).
- Utilize analytical skills to shape total rewards strategy & influence organizational goals.
- Communicate complex information about compensation & benefits programs to a wide range of stakeholders, including executives, managers, & employees.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments, such as finance, legal, & IT, to design & implement compensation & benefits programs that align with organizational goals & objectives.
What youll bring
- Technical proficiency in the use of compensation & benefits software & tools; ability to analyze & manipulate data using spreadsheets, databases, & other software tools.
- Leadership skills to foster a positive work culture & guide & develop team members.
- In-depth knowledge of compensation & benefits practices, trends, & regulations, including familiarity with a range of compensation & benefits programs such as base pay, incentives, benefits, & perquisites.
- Strong project management skills to manage projects at a strategic level.
- 10+ years of experience in the field.
- Bachelors degree in HR, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in People/HR with an emphasis on compensation, benefits, & equity programs.
- Proven track record in building total rewards programs in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to build employee-centric rewards programs while balancing business & financial boundaries.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly & influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Exposure to prioritization frameworks/experience in agile ways of working & advanced project management skills.
