What We Do
As the Map Rendering team, we use our engineering skills & curiosity to push the boundaries of whats possible with interactive maps & how people use location technologies in their daily lives. We work on a state-of-the-art open source platform for map interaction & visualization used by millions of people around the globe.
What Youll Do
- Work with a modern C++17 codebase, using the best practices of software engineering & tools.
- Solve interesting graphics programming, algorithms, & architectural challenges.
- Improve the projects performance, stability, maintainability & simplicity.
- Help bring open source contributions to the project, reviewing & merging pull requests.
- Experiment with new visualization techniques & fast graphics & geometry algorithms; & see them benefit millions of people in consumer mapping applications.

- Embedded platforms (Linux embedded, Android, QNX) is a plus.
- Location technologies (maps, GIS) is a plus.
