You will be working alongside the Head of Production & two other Senior Operations Managers, helping us to continue to put our customers first & go the extra mile in everything we do. Our people is the key to our success, & we want you be apart of this journey.

What You Will Be Doing:

• You will be responsible for the running of successful shifts across a 24/7 operation
• Leading team members to develop an inclusive performance culture
• Continually identifying opportunities to implement best practise throughout the wider team
• Be overall accountable to our performance metrics & the improvement of them
• Support the implementation of new products into the operation
• Workforce resource planning & team development Succession planning, Personal development plans & creating an operational talent pool
• Recruit & develop staff to be the best at what they do

Who You Are:

• Ideally be from a FMCG background in Production or Logistics Operations Management. Experience with managing large scale operations with multiple management tiers.
• Experience in working with electronic warehouse management systems.
• Strong understanding of health & safety & its application in a warehouse/production environment.
• Understanding of operational reporting, key information identification & critical issue escalation
• Excellent people skills & be passionate about achieving results through people. A strong leader, able to inspire others & build engaged & motivated teams.
• Energy, enthusiasm, commitment & a can-do flexible attitude

Location: The Windmill, 1 Holme Lane, Spondon, Derby, DE21 7HW

Work Schedule: 8-5pm Monday to Friday with one in three weekends
