Job Description
As the Senior Revenue Manager, you will be a strategic leader responsible for maximising profitable growth across all segments of the Retail channel & key accounts for Youfoodz. This role is central to optimising our pricing, trade spend, promotional effectiveness & overall commercial product strategy across the portfolio.
This newly created position reports to the Head of Retail & can be based either in Chippendale, Sydney or Karawatha, Brisbane.
You will...
- Develop, implement & manage the pack price architecture to maintain competitive & profitable positioning in trade.
- Analyse revenue performance drivers (price, volume, mix) & identify opportunities to improve gross margin & net revenue per unit.
- Lead the price review planning & execution, including competitive benchmarking & internal P&L impact modeling.
- Own the promotional evaluation process, establishing clear ROI hurdles & tracking mechanisms for all customer specific trade activities.
- Drive the monthly & annual Revenue Management Planning process, translating top down financial goals into bottom up commercial execution plans.
- Evaluate the profitability & strategic direction of the product portfolio by channel, customer & category.
You have...
- A minimum of 4 years dedicated experience in Revenue Management, Commercial Finance or Trade Spend Analytics within the FMCG sector (ideally supplier side).
- A deep understanding of the FMCG market, including key channels (e.g., grocery, convenience), competitors & retail dynamics.
- Expertise in pricing strategy, promotional evaluation (ROI/ROAS) & developing multi-scenario financial models.
- A Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related field.
- Demonstrated history of driving measurable financial improvements in net revenue & gross margin.
You are...
- Highly proficient in advanced Excel modeling, data manipulation & utilising visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- A strong communicator with the ability to develop a clear story from data & deliver presentations to senior management.
- Commercially astute with a deep understanding of the P&L structure from Gross Sales down to Net Revenue, Gross Margin & EBIT.
- Highly collaborative, with proven experience building & maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
