Job Description: As a Food Safety & Quality Associate you will ensure all HelloFresh mealkits meet food safety & quality standards (FSQ) & are safe for customers.

Shifts Available: 

Thursday to Sunday - 6:45pm to 5:15am

Friday to Monday - 6:45pm to 5:15am

Saturday to Tuesday - 6:45am to 5:15pm

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct required food safety checks, including taking product temperatures, verifying expiration dates, & performing sanitation swabs.
• Enforce & adhere to all safety, GMP, allergen control, food defense, PPE, hygiene, & SQF policies & procedures.
• Report FSQ problems & initiate corrective action, including shutting down the production line for major non-conformances.
• Audit, record results, & gather discarded product from the production floor.
• Coach employees to follow HelloFresh policies & support the sanitation team.
• Perform routine CCP verifications & instrument calibrations (scales/thermometer).
• Assist in non-conformance identification & CAPA analysis.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; one year of related experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old & able to read, write, & speak English.
• Must have basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, & fractions) & basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Sheets).
• Must be willing to work the entire scheduled shift across days, nights, weekdays, & weekends.
• Complete FSQ training upon onboarding (to be launched in 2024).

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Environment: Manufacturing/assembly environment with cool/cold temperatures (10 - 40). Exposure to moving mechanical parts & noise.
• Physical: Must stand, walk, stoop, reach, & lift for a minimum of 10 to 12 hours. Regularly lift & move up to 25 pounds, & occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Other: This position has no supervisory responsibility & requires no travel.
