As an International Food Safety & Quality Assurance Technologist, you will join a lean, fast-paced cross-functional team responsible for managing our International Safety Quality & Operational Compliance based in Berlin, supporting 17 engaged regions internationally. As part of your responsibilities as International Food Safety & Quality Assurance Technologist youll collaboratively work to mitigate risk, drive standards & operational excellence, while ensuring the consumer gets safe & high quality ingredients.

What youll do

• Partner with the international & country procurement teams to support the implementation of the Food Safety & Quality strategy for the category.
• Deliver strategic & innovative projects to ensure supply of safe & good quality products in all HelloFresh International regions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by coordinating the sharing of information & best practice across HelloFresh regions.
• Build effective relationships with all relevant internal & external stakeholders.
• Proactively evaluate key risks within the category & establish methodologies for mitigation.
• Regularly analyze customer complaint trends in product quality & packaging to identify opportunities for improvement within the supply chain through to HelloFresh customers.
• Conduct supplier & product onboarding ensuring compliance to HelloFresh requirements. 
• Conduct food safety & quality audits to the HelloFresh standard at supplier production sites.
• Support local teams with any high level serious customer complaint investigations or recalls.
• Coordinate the artwork approval process for the category.
• Creation of templates & procedures to support standardised implementation of central policies.

What youll bring

• Proven experience in a similar role within Food Manufacturing / Assembly / Distribution / Retail, with more than 2 years experience in a relevant industry. 
• Internal & External Audit experience desirable
• Knowledge of relevant Government Food Regulations (UK/ Wider Europe)
• In depth knowledge of food safety systems, HACCP & COSHH
• CIEH Level 4 award in Food safety or relevant qualification
• Intermediate/Advanced MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint skills
• Excellent organizational & time management skills
• Adept at data manipulation & analytics
• Energy, enthusiasm, commitment & a can-do flexible attitude
• Embraces change, challenge & working in an autonomous way
• International experience desirable
• Excellent English skills required
