This role is based out of our new & exciting Mexico City Office. Mexico City is our first office outside of the US, & youll be the first Product Designer here.  Were headquartered in New York City, with a large presence in Atlanta, GA, as well as innovation hubs & remote talent across the U.S. BetterCloud is backed, among others, by some of the best technology investors: Vista Equity Partners, Warburg Pincus, Bain Capital, & Accel.

As a BetterCloud Product Designer, you will work on creating an intuitive, responsive & engaging user experience for our platforms. We are looking for a designer who is great at what they do & thrives when coordinating cross-functionality across different teams & PMs. If you have these qualities & are willing to hit the ground running then were the place for you!

About You:

• 2+ years experience working at a SaaS company or similar
• 2+ years experience coordinating responsive web designs with PMs & Engineers
• An online or PDF portfolio demonstrating a thorough Product Design process & exceptional workStrong experience with vector-based design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc)
• A desire to build & design iteratively in multiple releasable stages

Preferred Qualifications 

• Positive history of user research & implementing that feedback into designs
• Expertise in Figma-specific functionality, such as auto-layout & prototyping
• Experience building & contributing to design systems
• Bachelors Degree in a design or IT-related fieldStrength in visual design

What You'll Do:

• Contribute to the evolution of our flagship application by creating best-in-breed UI designs that delight users
• Craft & deliver polished deliverables (wireframes, specifications, & prototypes) to communicate design decisions & rationale
• Follow an iterative, user-centered & data-informed processCreate solutions with measurable quality & impactAlign to internal style guides & industry best practices
• Partner & collaborate with design peers, Product Managers, Front End Developers, & othersManage multiple work streams & competing priorities
• Contribute to the BetterCloud Design System
