Your Role

HelloFresh is seeking to hire a data-driven Network Optimisation Manager to join our International Logistics team. This newly created role goes beyond traditional process management; it's about pioneering change & driving innovation in network planning & logistics optimisation for millions of customers across 16 countries.

As the business owner of the Network Optimisation domain, you will shape the future of planning within our operational network, developing & applying advanced tools & algorithmic models to address complex demand management challenges.

You will collaborate with multiple Global stakeholders, including local market teams, International Data, Product & Engineering teams, Operations Research, Data Science, & other supply chain domain teams. You will focus on orchestrating these multifaceted relationships to develop a cohesive function to drive improvements & efficiencies across our network, ensuring alignment & synergy in pursuit of HelloFresh's overarching business goals.

What You'll Do


As the Network Optimisation Manager at HelloFresh, your responsibilities will include:

  • Own the Network Planning & Customer Order Allocation processes: Partner with the Operations Research team to develop & apply algorithmic solutions to design efficient shipping networks from distribution centres to customers, focusing on minimising the total cost of ownership. Handle order allocation strategies, considering factors like meal swapping, logistic costs, service constraints, & inventory levels at each DC.
  • Holiday & Peak Management Strategies: Develop & deliver plans for managing our network during holidays to minimise customer impact while maintaining efficiency & responsiveness across our end-to-end supply chain operations.
  • Innovative Demand Steering: Manage & influence customer demand to mitigate operational constraints. Integrate complex data sets, including forecasts, network & supply chain nodes, & commercial KPIs such as Average order rate, conversion & PC2, into an automated, hands-off solution that balances customer impact with supply chain efficiency.
  • Collaborative Development & Operational Excellence: Work closely with local markets & International Data, Product & Engineering teams to define & implement new Supply Chain Optimisation solutions & act as a coordinating link among departments. Lead initiatives for network enhancement simulations, automate demand management processes & support the development of Logistics tools & services.

Who You Are


You are a highly skilled professional with experience applying complex data sets to solve supply chain management scenarios. Your qualifications include:

  • A Scientific or Engineering Post Graduate degree, an MBA or a Project Management certification is a plus. Background in Operations Research, Management Science or Industrial Engineering is a big plus.
  • At least three years of experience in a role within supply chain optimisation, demonstrating a track record of successful innovation & process improvement.
  • Proficiency in advanced data analytics & project management, with a tech-savvy approach to understanding evolving industry practices.
  • Proven ability to develop relationships & lead cross-functional teams, delivering results through collaboration & innovation.
  • You are collaborative & influential: you can work with multiple stakeholders to influence them toward a winning strategy that achieves a common goal.
  • You demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset: you thrive in fast-paced environments, make sense of ambiguous situations, & enjoy taking on new responsibilities. You generate new ideas that make a measurable business impact.
  • You are a results-oriented doer with a hands-on mentality & a zest for action.
  • You are ready to take on responsibility in a dynamic working environment starting on day one.
  • You are fluent in English (reading, writing & speaking)
  • International travel is a requirement of the role (<25%)
