We are looking for an experienced data analyst to support Vimeos Sales efforts. The right person will have a strong analytical background with equal parts technical & communication skills. They will have previously worked in Sales Analytics with a focus on data-informed results.
What you'll do:
- Drive & lead strategic, cross-functional initiatives in order to enable data standardization, increase data consumption & boost data-driven decision making.
- Analyze sales data & pipeline metrics to identify revenue growth opportunities
- Measure enterprise customer engagement with Vimeo tools & features & improve retention by identifying expansion opportunities
- Communicate findings & insights effectively to both technical & non-technical stakeholders.
- Build & maintain user-friendly & informative dashboards, reports, & presentations in order to enable day-to-day & strategic data-driven decision making.
- Foster a relationship of trust & cooperation with the stakeholders, creating an atmosphere of knowledge sharing & collaboration.
Skills & knowledge you should possess:
- Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying & solving business challenges.
- A sense of ownership - capable of independently initiating & driving projects from beginning to end.
- Best analytical mind in town - Proficient in interpreting complex datasets, extracting valuable insights for informed decision-making. Skilled in identifying patterns & translating business questions into effective analytical solutions. Demonstrates a problem-solving mindset & stays current with evolving data analysis methodologies.
- Extensive SQL experience working with large datasets
- Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, keyboard shortcuts, etc.)
- Experience building dashboards in Tableau or similar data visualization suites
- Bachelors degree (preferably in Business, Economics, Statistics or Computer Science) & 4+ years of experience in a data analytics role (preferably in a SaaS business.)
- Comfortable communicating with senior executives
- A team player who enjoys working cross functionally
- You truly believe that "getting it right" is just as important as "getting it done"
Targeted Base Salary Range: $81,900 to $125,500
The base salary range listed above is for candidates located in the U.S., including the New York City metro area.
