ROLE

  • Deliver a best-in-class Calendar product that sets a new standard for how professionals manage time driving increased customer delight, adoption, & retention.
  • Accelerate Superhumans business growth by identifying, building, & scaling calendar features that unlock deep customer value & differentiation.
  • Foster a high-performing engineering culture rooted in technical excellence, ownership, ambition, & psychological safety making the Calendar pod a magnet for top-tier talent.
  • Hire, onboard, & retain exceptional engineers who raise the bar for quality, velocity, & product thinking.
  • Coach & develop engineers to reach new levels of impact in their careers through regular feedback, career growth planning, & deep technical mentorship.
  • Drive architectural & executional excellence by setting clear technical direction & holding a high bar for design reviews, system design, & code quality.
  • Lead through influence across Superhuman, collaborating with Product, Design, & other Engineering Managers to shape strategy, resolve cross-team challenges, & scale engineering practices.
  • Champion continuous improvement, challenging existing processes & assumptions to improve speed, product quality, & developer experience.
  • Contribute to Engineering leaderships vision & operating model, helping define how Superhuman scales & evolves its product & engineering org.

  • Experience: You have 10+ years of experience contributing to engineering teams including 2+ years of experience leading teams.
  • Hands-on Leadership: Our managers act as CTOs. You are hands on. You sometimes take the player/coach role. You drive technology choices, you review PR on a daily basis, you occasionally jump & code yourself. You drive incidents may they arise. You drive ceremonies: grooming, sizing, planning & execution. You have the ability to work at different altitude.
  • Technologist: You're naturally curious & your curiosity is not limited to a specific stack. You embrace technology as a wide space. Enthusiast or cautiously optimistic, you know AI is revolutionizing both how we work & the experiences we create for our customers. Driven by passion & curiosity, you embrace technology to up-level your team's productivity & impact, creating delight, delivering exceptional quality, & embracing the extraordinary in everything you do.

SALARY INFO

Our starting salaries for this role range from $115,000 - $210,000 USD. The salary range does not reflect total compensation, which includes base salary, benefits, & company stock options.

You might notice our salary ranges are quite broad - that's because our talented workforce is distributed across North & South America. We tailor our compensation to each location to make sure we're competitive in every market.

For team members outside of the US we employ & pay through an Employer of Record (EOR). We take a location-based pay approach & compensation for this role is dependent on several factors such as location, work experience, job-related skills, business needs, & market demands.
