Position Overview

DoubleVerify seeks a talented & resourceful Commercial Director for the French & Southern European territory to lead our sales teams in these markets. This unique individuals primary responsibility will be to serve as the leader of the French & Southern European Sales Team while also establishing, maintaining & enhancing our relationships with senior stakeholders across the largest brands, agencies & trading desks in the region. We are looking for a team player that takes initiative, has an entrepreneurial spirit, & knows how to create partnerships & sophisticated agreements that last. This senior sales leader is someone who has experience evangelizing products, negotiating commercial agreements, & managing/coaching a sales team to carry the sales process from prospecting to close. This is an opportunity to lead a hyper-growth division of a leading technology company that is transforming the online media industry.

Responsibilities

  • Establish & grow our relationships with senior-level decision-makers across the largest agencies & brands across France, Greece, Italy, Portugal & Spain.
  • Negotiate & structure commercial agreements to drive adoption of DoubleVerify's services & technology
  • Lead a geographically dispersed sales team to drive continuous revenue growth in-territory through new business acquisition
  • Manage French & Southern European revenue forecasting with precision to the MD EMEA
  • Present DoubleVerifys solutions to key decision-makers within brands, agencies & trading desks
  • Partner with internal support teams to ensure maximum levels of client-facing customer service
  • Attend industry events & speak as a representative of DoubleVerify to the larger digital marketing industry
  • Some light travel dependent on customer needs

Requirements

  • Must be comfortable communicating internally & externally in English & French
  • Stellar sales performance through resourceful execution
  • Excellent understanding of agency dynamics, how they operate & how/what campaign buying & planning entails
  • Must have extensive contacts at top interactive agencies/brand advertisers (including trading, media, operations, analytics) & have a strong knowledge of accounts, planning teams & planning cycles
  • Must show accountability/ownership through every stage of the client relationship
  • Must have experience creating partnerships based on value
  • Strong knowledge of online marketing techniques & technologies (platforms, DSPs, exchanges, etc.)
  • Proven ability to manage sellers pipelines & accurately forecast revenue
  • Able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to analyse & articulate data into a sales proposition a plus
  • Collaborate with multiple internal teams to ensure market needs are met
  • Excellent presentation & communication skills, both in-person & over the phone
  • Bachelors or Masters degree preferred
  • Ability to speak additional languages (beyond English & French) is strongly preferred
  • 10+ years experience in internet media/technology sales
  • Proficient in MS Office & Salesforce
