Role Description

As a Staff Product Designer working on Dash, you will be at the forefront of reimagining design for the next generation of AI-powered products. You will help define the future of our AI experiences, collaborating across teams to integrate cutting-edge technologies that make our product even more intuitive, intelligent, & powerful.

Responsibilities

• Drive impact & take initiative & deliver high-quality work that creates meaningful value for customers
• Champion customer needs & deeply understand Dash customers, validate solutions through research & testing, & ensure designs address real user problems.
• Design intuitive interactions, create flexible, scalable interaction systems. Anticipate edge cases & design seamless, multi-step, cross-platform experiences.
• Craft thoughtful visuals & apply strong visual design principlesincluding layout, color, typography, & hierarchyto produce clean, effective interfaces.
• Explore & iterate, taking a methodical approach to solution explorationtesting concepts at various levels of fidelity. Generate a wide range of ideas informed by user input, data, & business needs.
• Align with product strategy to understand our business model & how the product strategy supports it. Design solutions that align with strategic goals & are grounded in customer insight & data.
• Make smart decisions & engage the right stakeholders, incorporate customer perspectives, & make timely, well-informed decisions that move work forward.
• Communicate with clarity, communicate ideas clearly in both writing & speech to build shared understanding & support effective decisions. Keep stakeholders informed & aligned by proactively sharing context & raising issues early.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product design
• Exceptional craft & attention to detail in visual design, interaction design, & prototyping.
• Proficiency with prototyping tools to showcase complex features & web flows.
• Experience using & contributing to design systems.
• Proven track record of launching & iterating on products with a focus on business & customer impact.
• Strong customer obsession with extensive experience leveraging UX research for foundational insights & iterative design.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional partners, including designers, researchers, PMs, data scientists, & engineers.
• Experience spanning the full product lifecycle, from discovery to launch & iteration.
• Ability to measure impact through both quantitative metrics & qualitative insights.
• Ownership mindset with a proactive approach to driving projects & teams forward.
