 About the Role 

iCapital is looking for a Fund Finance Operations Assistant to join the Fund Finance team. This role is focused on supporting several accounting teams that service a fast-growing sector of the business. This position will help enable the accounting teams to be more effective & efficient while building scale & servicing iCapitals clients.  

 Responsibilities 

  • Be part of an operations-based accounting team that serves iCapitals clients in the US & globally.  
  • Work closely within the accounting teams & across many iCapital internal teams such as Fund Origination, Investor Relations, Technology, Sales, & Marketing to support ongoing fund operations. 
  • Monitor cash positions & report any irregularities. 
  • Coordinate accounts payable & expense allocation processes. 
  • Support teams by running reports & approving invoices in the accounts payable online system. 
  • Maintain investor & investment data in the iCapital platform using proprietary technology tools. 
  • Define, update, & maintain operating policies & procedures. 
  • Manage calendars for multiple teams.
  • Pull documents from various websites & save them as appropriate.
  • Reconcile invoices.
  • Fulfill ad-hoc requests as needed. 

Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of administrative experience or equivalent  
  • Interest in supporting fund accounting, fund administration, & finance operations teams focused on alternative investment funds including fund-of-funds & feeder funds 
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills focused on Outlook & Excel 
  • Coupa experience a plus 
  • Willingness to work within a close team structure on all tasks 
  • Excellent organizational skills & attention to detail  
  • Ability to multi-task & work both independently & as a team player in a fast-paced, demanding environment 
  • Strong verbal, written, & interpersonal communication skills 
  • High level of integrity 
  • Passion for the application of innovative technology 
  • Eager to learn new topics & work in an evolving business environment 

 

Benefits 

The base salary range for this role is $60,000 to $80,000. iCapital offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes a competitive total compensation program consisting of salary, equity for all full-time employees, annual performance bonus; 100% employer paid Group Benefits (including medical, dental, vison, prescription, insurance, virtual telemedicine & mental health counseling, & an employee assistance program) for employees & their dependents, unlimited paid time off (PTO), parental leave, & a corporate gym membership.
