The Strategic Business Development Manager will help to shape & implement Carta's platform strategy to better serve our community (14,000+ companies & 300+ venture funds-and growing rapidly). The Strategic BD team works cross-functionally to drive ecosystem partnerships relating to Carta Launch, CartaX (next-gen liquidity), Financial Products, Investor Services, core cap management products, & other exciting aspects of our rapidly growing business. Ideal candidates will be energized by creating & socializing strategic frameworks & business cases, driving discussions with partners, & executing on key partnerships, product integrations, & more.
The Channel team oversees all of Carta's partner relationships, empowering technology partners, law firms, venture funds, accelerators, accounting firms, & others to help companies in their networks join & utilize Carta-driving transparency, ownership, & liquidity across our network. The Channel team is action-oriented, with a focus on impact. It's a team where creative thinkers, proactive communicators, & team players will have a blast & thrive.
This role will work cross-functionally with leaders across the company to identify & develop opportunities for strategic partnerships, create & socialize frameworks & business cases, conduct due diligence, drive partner discussions, & execute on deals to generate non-linear impact to our business.
